Рак полового члена: новые биомаркеры в диагностике и лечении

Рак полового члена является редкой урологической неоплазией у мужчин. Однако, это новообразование продолжает выявляться у большого количества пациентов во всем мире, при этом в развивающихся странах наблюдаются самые высокие показатели заболеваемости и смертности. На эпидемиологическом уровне это новообразование очень редко встречается в развитых странах, где оно составляет менее 1% злокачественных новообразований у мужчин и имеет заболеваемость примерно 1,33 случая на 100 000 мужчин в Европе, в отличие от развивающихся стран, где на долю рака полового члена приходится до 20% злокачественных новообразований у мужчин. В России показатель заболеваемости составлял 0,67 на 100 000 мужского населения. Это заболевание обычно поражает пожилых мужчин, и средний возраст которых составляет примерно 60 лет. Описаны многочисленные факторы риска, среди которых особое значение имеют фимоз и папилломавирусная инфекция (ВПЧ). С фимозом связано ухудшением гигиены половых органов, что приводит к скоплению смегмы, что способствует возникновению ситуации хронического воспаления, вызывающего диспластические изменения эпителия и впоследствии появление истинной инвазивной неоплазии. Карцинома полового члена является редкой злокачественной урологической неоплазии в развитых странах, но имеет высокую распространенность в развивающихся странах. Независимо от частоты встречаемости, данное заболевание является диагностической проблемой, и во многих случаях его лечение вызывает значительное изменение функциональности мужской репродуктивной системы и, следовательно, влияет на качество жизни данной группы пациентов.
