Earlier ethnolexicographing of the African-American sublanguage in Great Britain: F. Grose`s «A classical dictionary of the vulgar tongue»

The article presents the results of a multifactor ethnosociolexicographic analysis of first attempts of registration and interpretation of Afro-American ethnosociolectisms in English lexicographic manuals, one of them being «A Classical Dictionary of the Vulgar Tongues» by F.Grose.
