Archival documents on the early years of alexander koyre

Focusing on the documents of the Russian archives, the article sheds new light on the early life of a famous philosopher and historian of science Alexandre Koyré (1892-1964). Particular attention is paid to his family ties and relationships, as well as his participation in the revolutionary activities of the Social Revolutionaries in Rostov-on-Don in 1906-1907. The documents analyzed by the author give a definitive answer to the question on exact year of Koyré’s arrival in Gottingen when he became a disciple of Edmund Husserl.
