The early records of the Kalmyk songs of the patriotic war of 1812

On the basis of studying the published and archive material there is presented the history of the records and collections of the Kalmyk songs of the Patriotic War of 1812. The folklore and musical notations of I.V. Dobrovolsky, I.I. Popov, A.M. Listopadova, N.O. Ochirova and A.D. Rudneva are considered as a valuable source, aimed at studying the Kalmyk historical sources of the XIXth - the beginning of the XXth centuries.
