The simplified model for penetration of plasma generated due to the stationary plasma thrusters operation into the unpressurized bays of the satellite was reviewed. This model allows to take into consideration the processes of ion transfer from the thrusters to the vent hole, plasma penetration into the Payload bay and plasma movements inside the bay to the on-board equipment units. The experiment results confirming the adequacy of the proposed model are provided.
