Justice of the Chelyabinsk region in the XVIII century

The article describes the process of implementation of the judicial reform of Catherine II, the creation in the Chelyabinsk region of its lower level - violence. The legislator, taking into account the specifics of the territory, introduced a second lower massacre to serve the Bashkir population. The author illustrates the election of specific assessors to these judicial institutions. Their activity is shown on the example of concrete criminal and civil cases.
