Dissemination of the AUE criminal subculture among young people: key factors, threats, measures

Based on the available statistical information, a characteristic of the penal system is given and an analysis of the criminal situation in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation is carried out. On the basis of applied sociological research, the causes of the growth of juvenile delinquency are analyzed, the influence of the criminal subculture on the number of crimes committed by or with the participation of minors is studied. A statement is being made on the need to expand the criminal law in terms of introducing a new article 210.2 in the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provides for criminal liability for the propaganda of criminal ideology, in order to mitigate the negative influence of representatives of criminal communities on children and adolescents associated with the propaganda of criminal ideology, involving minors in criminal activities and increased criminalization of Russian society.
