Risk factors prevalence of development the chronic obstructive pulmonary disease among the inhabitants of rural areas in south of Krasnoyarsk krai

By means of the standardized questionnaire for identification the respiratory symptoms (ECSC) in Russian questioning of 3241 inhabitants of Krasnoyarsk Krai of both sexes was carried out. From them men 43,5±0,9% (1411) and 56,5±0,9% (1830) women are examined. The most widespread risk factor of development is use of naked flame for heating of dwelling and cooking (72,0±0,8%) (2334). Dependence on tobacco met at 40,9±0,9% (1327) interrogated respondents. And only 18,0±0,7% (584) had contact with dust on production over a year. When studying a role of risk factors on development of the chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) proved that smoking (OSH 11,4 [95% of DI has the greatest impact: 4,9-26,2], r=0,87, r=0,005). Earlier beginning the tobacco use also influences development of COPD (OSH 3,3 [95% of DI: 1,9-5,6], r=0,53, r=0,04).
