Prevalence and methods of prevention of arterial hypertension among the population with different trophological status

The combination of such generally accepted risk factors for cardiovascular diseases as trophic status disorders, arterial hypertension, dyslipidemia, along with age-related indicators and multiple comorbidities require special attention in elderly and old patients. The prevalence of arterial hypertension in economically developed countries is 20-50% and is one of the main factors of disability and mortality of the population. At the same time, the continuing increase in morbidity and the defeat of people of an increasingly younger age makes cardiovascular diseases an important medical and social problem.
