Prevalence of mental and substance use disorders among conscripts of a municipal unit of the Tomsk region

As a result of the conducted research it is revealed that with increase in population of the Tomsk District for the period from 2013 to 2018 (by 4.7 thousand persons) the number of persons of military age has decreased by 38.2% (from 5906 to 3648 persons). The prevalence and structure of mental and substance use disorders among recruits has essential distinctions respective from age, time and the region of residence. In structure of mental pathology personality disorders and mental retardation predominate.
