The aim of this study was to examine prevalence and structure of gynecologic pathology in female workers who work in Siberian chemical plant and who were exposed to continuous professional irradiation in ?small? dose range depending on time of starting and length of radiation exposure. In the women with gynecologic pathology who were exposed ionizing gamma radiation in ?small? dose range, duration of professional irradiation was significantly higher as compared with healthy women who were also exposed ionizing gamma radiation in the same ?small? dose range. Both early onset of radiation exposure and long-time radiation exposure were associated with increased risk of gynecologic pathology development.
