V.O. Pelevin’s short story "The crystal world" as an example of a postmodern text

This work is devoted to the analysis of the postmodern story "The Crystal World". The author's role as one of the representatives of postmodernism in Russian literature is indicated. The research is aimed at identifying intertextual links with works of culture and literature from different eras. The article examines the formation of the meaning of the story with the help of other texts. It also reveals the significance of the main artistic images and provides examples of postmodern reality.
