The authors analyze the media coverage of the facts of “unacceptable behavior of educators” and public discussion of these events. There has been established a contradiction between the fact that labor legislation provides such a basis for dismissal and the lack of an unambiguous interpretation of the concept of “unacceptable behavior”. The article provides the analysis of judicial practice in disputes related to the termination of an employment contract with teachers due to their unacceptable behavior. The difficulties of interpreting the concept of unacceptable behavior give rise to enforcement problems that are demonstrated in the article. Considering the grounds for dismissal, the authors conclude that the employer does not always correctly interpret the norms of labor legislation. The article will be interesting to specialists in educational law, teachers, educators and parents.
