Differences between students of the humanitarian and sports classes of the sports lyceum in the correlation of their emotional states

The paper describes some problems with the Russian sports achievements of recent years (first of all, in the World and European football championships and cups), their sources and the importance of various types of psychological and pedagogical assistance in increasing sports results. The author presents the results of an empirical psychological study on individual psychological characteristics and emotional states of students of the Sports Lyceum No. 82 (FC Zenith Izhevsk School). The test subjects are young men aged 14-15 years, students of two 9th grades - humanitarian and sports classes. The paper analyzes the correlations between various factors of the Luscher and Eysenck tests and the differences between the classes. The study’s conclusions allow us to adjust the training of young sportsmen in order to achieve significant results.
