Differences in physical education systems in higher educational institutions of the USA and Russia

In this paper, we describe physical education systems in higher education institutions in Russia and the USA (organization of classes at universities, sports available for selection, etc.) with a subsequent transition to comparing these systems with a specific example of Petrozavodsk State University and the University of Oregon (Eugene, Oregon).
