The authors consider the diversity and feasibility of fitness classes for students, its impact on the health of the student, as well as the features of fitness classes in the main and adaptive groups. One of the problems ofphysical education in high school is the lack of interest of students in physical education. There is a problem in the necessity of forming a physically healthy specialist in the University training and the lack of motivation of students to engage in physical culture and sports, the need to change the format of physical education classes using new approaches and new technologies. Hypothesis. The use of fitness technologies in physical education of students will positively impact on their motivational and need sphere, which in turn will improve their physical and mental condition, academic performance and the formation of a healthy lifestyle of students. The purpose of the study is to determine the role of fitness technologies in improving the educational process of physical culture in high school, in the formation of a healthy lifestyle of students. Research problem: to study the state of the issue in the scientific and methodological literature: to summarize the experience of using fitness technologies in the educational process of the University; to develop and test the effectiveness of experimental programs of fitness technologies in physical education at the University, Materials and methods ofresearch. To solve these problems, research work was organized at the Cheyabinsk state University at the Department of physical education and sports in 2017 2018. Students of 4 faculties of 1 - 2 courses were involved in the study. The introduction of elements of fitness technology in training increases students ' interest in physical culture, stimulates their independent work. Planning of classes with elements of fitness for boys of the main group can be based on sports, recreational fitness technologies (athletic gymnastics, crossfit, mixed programs), for boys of the adaptive group of recreational and rehabilitation technologies (yoga fitness, specialized programs of athletic gymnastics, Billiards, circular fitness training, adapted mixed programs) For girls of the main group can be selected yoga fitness, athletic gymnastics, step aerobics, mixed programs for girls of the adaptive groupyoga fitness, Billiards, Pilates, athletic gymnastics.
