The COVID-19 pandemic, which began in 2019 and has engulfed the world, has had a negative impact on the moral and psychological state of a huge number of people. Scientists even consider it as a large-scale «psychological experiment» with a long-term effect. The article emphasizes the importance of minimizing the impact of this global threat on the life and health of various age and professional categories of people. The purpose of the study is a systematic view of the situation as a unique stage in the life of a modern society, an analysis of not only the negative, but also the positive effects of the pandemic in the light of the moral and psychological recovery of the Russian society.
