Development and research of a child-adapted aircraft passenger seat

Free access

The design of an adaptable aviation passenger seat is proposed, which provides the possibility of transforming its supporting surfaces into a variant for a child and an adult. A finite element study of the lateral displacements of an anthropomorphic model of a three-year-old child in the proposed design of the chair and in the standard one under the influence of calculated loads was carried out.
