The article substantiates the need to create effective systems for diagnosing the hazard of electrical installations of production facilities. It describes the features and structure of the developed expert system for analysis and forecasting of anthropogenic risks of electrical installations. The stages of the expert system development are listed and the process of functioning of the human-machine system under consideration is described in terms of natural language with the help of fuzzy sets. It presents the sequence of actions of the subject of electrical installations safety management, which is the basis of procedure for building expert system. The article discusses the accident risk tree - a logically organized graphic structure that demonstrates interaction of system elements leading to occurrence of head event. It describes process of an accident in the electrical installation that led to interruption in power supply to facility.
