The article presents approach to the development codifier subject learning outcomes on Informatics in school. Analyzed standard documents in the field of education in Russia for the last 10 years; ap­proaches to the term competence. Proposed structure and content codifier subject learning outcomes in computer science at school, taking into account the competency approach, as well as on the basis of teaching experience, draw conclusions about the adequacy of the material studied for continuing education in computer science at the university.
