The article deals with formulating and the study of physical and chemical properties of functional nutrient mixture based on oat seeds after wet and thermal processing and sea buckthorn flour. It is proved that sea buckthorn^flour can be used when producing functional dry mixtures. This allows to increase biological value of the product, as sea buckthorn flour contains water- and oil-soluble biologically active supplements. It is stated that buckthorn flour addition allows to extend nutrient mixture ’s storage life due to presence of natural anti-oxidants, flavanoids, tocopherols, carotinoids.
