Students' Analytical abilities development with the use of multimedia scores

The article touches upon the problem of using only classical pedagogical methods that make it possible to develop analytical abilities of the students of music colleges and universities, such as reading notes from a printed sheet, studying forms in the textbook while the modern world allows the use of computer technology. The article has defined the notion «analytical abilities» and its components, which are necessary for a modern musician-professional to possess for effective professional activity in the field of music computer technologies. A special emphasis is made on multimedia scores that allow to enrich the information base with auxiliary material to develop not only analytical abilities in particular, and analytical thinking in general, and also culture.
