The article deals with the description of the basic cognitive traits of the macroconcept “druzhina” representing a special type of the damping macroconcept. In its structure in the period of the XI-XIXth centuries there were kept the unchanged six features: ‘guild’, ‘army’, ‘society’, ‘comradeship’, ‘bodyguard’ and ‘companion’.
