Development of reading interest in primary school students through the project "Reading is my preference"

The article deals with the problem of developing one of the key conditions of the modern paradigm of school education - reader interest. We have described the experience of implementing the project "Reading is My Preference", which is based on creating a community of bibliophiles on social networks. The project developer analyzed and presented all stages of organizing this event. The project is aimed at promotion reading, increasing interest in books, and reviving the traditions of family reading. The joint activities of participants in the educational project develop an interest in reading, broaden their horizons, strengthen family ties, and develop a system of values. In order to foster a well integrated personality, it is necessary to cultivate cognitive abilities in a child from an early age, therefore a modern teacher of Russian language and literature needs to skillfully use modern means of communication to instill a love of reading.
