Developing financial literacy in future handicraft teachers

The article deals with the peculiarities of developing financial literacy among future handicraft teachers. At the present stage of economic development, young people have insufficient financial literacy, which entails difficulties in making the right decisions to ensure material welfare. We believe that this problem needs to be addressed already at the stage of teaching children at school. At handicraft lessons teachers are faced with the task of propaedeutics of knowledge from the field of economics and finance, which will be useful to children in the future. The study is relevant due to the need for a deeper study of financial issues by future handicraft teachers. The article presents a pilot study, aimed at development of financial literacy among future handicraft teachers. We have described in detail the diagnostics and ways to improve the level of financial literacy among students.
