The development of information competence of the teacher in the context of professional standard requirements

The article deals with the role of ICT competence in the light of professional standard requirements for a teacher and determining the possible ways to improve the level of information competence through forming a methodical work of a secondary school. The article also describes the basic idea of the design and implementation of the program for the development of the information competence of the school teacher. Besides, it presents the activity of the school teaching staff to implement the program using different types of learning and professional objectives.
