Annotate. The article considers approaches to definition of essence of marketing of innovations and its place in enterprise management. Distinction between marketing of innovations and innovative marketing. Marketing innovation is defined as the direction of marketing activities; a set of specific actions, techniques, methods, and the systematic activity of subjects of economic relations on the development and marketing of new products, services and technologies to meet the needs and demands of consumers (society) in a more efficient than the competition, image-based update and improve components of the enterprise potential, finding new directions and ways of its use for the purpose of making a profit and providing conditions for long-term survival and development in the market.
