Foreign language competence development of cadets in departmental non-linguistic universities

The article considers aspects of foreign language competence formation as one of the most important in the process of mastering a foreign language speech. Modern requirements for the specialist who enters international communication are determined by the need to study the culture of the target language. The effectiveness of the material acquisition and, as a consequence, the successful formation of foreign language competence, are caused by inclusion in the educational process of a method of listening comprehension.
