Human beings and nature form a community of shared life. When human activities disrupt the balance of the ecological environment, nature will inevitably have a unique reaction on human society. The excellent traditional Chinese culture contains profound ecological wisdom of “unity of heaven and man”, represented by tra-ditional ecological ethics such as Confucianism, Taoism, Mohism, and Legalism, vividly demonstrating the philo-sophical thinking and practical wisdom of the Chinese ancestors in dealing with the relationship between humans and nature. By delving into the essence of traditional Chinese ecological culture, dialectically absorbing the benefi-cial elements of Western ecological ethics, and innovating and developing the sinicized and modernized achieve-ments of Marxist ecological theory, we can not only provide ideological support for practicing the concept of green development and promoting the construction of a beautiful China, but also contribute Chinese wisdom to building a “community of life between man and nature”, leading the construction of global ecological civilization, and ultimately achieving a beautiful scene of harmonious coexistence between man and nature.
