Development of the competence-based approach of students in the specialty of economic security

In this article, the authors consider the features of the competence-based approach in higher education in the preparation of students of a specialty. The article examines the history of the development of the competence approach, the specifics of its inclusion as a strategic basis in the federal state standard of higher education, as well as in the requirements of employers for young professionals. The problems faced by higher education institutions in preparing those promising in this area have been identified.
