Development of students’ creative abilities at a technical higher institution in process of methodological training

In the article the problems of development of students’ creative abilities at a technical higher institution, the importance and tasks of the methodological component of training are considered. Possibilities of the course «Methods of scientific technical creative work» and ways of its teaching that help to form creative engineering thinking are discussed.
