Development of students' trust culture in the context of information security

Importance of the article is caused by the contradiction between the exponential growth of destructive information in the global network and the excessive confidence of its users. However, it is discovered that the potential for higher education to solve this problem has been used insufficiently. The article defines the concept of a culture of trust and substantiates the possibilities of its development among university students. Analytic-synthetic and sociological methods were used. As a result, the author's definition of the culture of students' trust was formulated, and the pedagogical conditions for its development at university were determined and tested. The novelty of the study lies in the multifactority of a well-founded definition of the culture of trust and the pedagogical conditions of its development. Theoretical significance consists in determining the factors of influence on the content of a culture of trust: the functional and activity concept of culture; the ambiguity of categories of trust and mistrust; the principle of saving energy and the maximum of entropy, determining the effect of their savings. Experimental work shows positive dynamics of the development of a culture of students' trust in the context of information security, which emphasizes the practical importance of the study.
