From 2009 to improve the quality of medical care and to decrease mortality rate among patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS), the Department of Health of the population of the Kemerovo region has started testing of the algorithm of providing high-tech medical care of ACS of residents of the territories. The purpose of this study was to assess first results of the interaction of regional hospitals and the Kuzbass Cardiology Center (KCC). The object of the analysis of selected works of interterritorial relations in the provision of medical care for patients with ACS, and the unit of observation - patients with acute coronary syndrome - the inhabitants of the territories of the north of the Kuzbass (Berezovsky, Topky, Leninsk-Kuznetsk) sent for treatment to KCC. For the first 9 months of 2010 44 patients were transferred to KCC, which accounted for 7% of patients hospitalized with acute coronary syndrome. All patients in KCC underwent emergency coronary angiography and 77.3% (34 people) - primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Another 20.5% (9 patients with ACS) were sent for routine myocardial revascularization. It was established that during the period of monitoring in two of the three hospitals there was a trend to the lower hospital mortality from myocardial infarction, associated with the frequency of PCI. However, the amount of patients (7% of all hospitalized with acute coronary syndrome) transferred to the KCC does not correspond to the number of patients who are in need of endovascular procedures.
