Development of cognitive activity as a leading factor in the process of mastering the translation strategy

Article substantiates the fact that the process of development of the translator takes place through the mastery of translation strategy, which, in turn, is impossible without the development of cognitive activity. This factor is represented as a key within the educational activity of students specializing at the University. The article considers the concept of«cognitive activity» in the conditions of mastering translation strategy.
