Career development of musical college students at the department of choral conducting (first year of training)

This article deals with the problem of formation and professional growth of the students at the initial stage of learning. Some difficulties and ways of their overcoming in integrated learning of students are considered taking into account their music data and training. Giving the example of the first-year student, the author draws attention to the importance of the formation of the preliminary conducting skills and further professional growth not only of musical college students, but also of the first-year students of the choral department of East Siberian state Institute of culture who have no conducting training.
