The development of screenplay in Mongolian literature

The principle of screenwriting implies certain rules and requirements to literary texts assigned to create visual representation. Thus it is highly required for authors to consider this feature. This literary text embraces entirely all as time, place, and montage and it is a unique genre in literature that develops according to the advancement of technology. Since 1970, teleplays have set their own images and there have developed various genres such as melodrama, social drama, life, psychological and historical dramas. If considering themes and plots of teleplays during the first years of development of TV theaters in Mongolia, there dominated social order. However, it is clear that desire to penetrate into inner world of human being in order to show his life, conflict and struggle through reflecting the period of time. It was also a requirement rising from the principles of television. Also, there have arisen initiatives by artists for new thinking and approach to produce artistic works satisfying the needs of mass audience.
