Development of Russian as a foreign language in China in the context of cooperation: a case study of Shenzhen MSU-BIT University

In the context of the constant deepening of cooperation between China and Russia in the fields of politics, economics, science, culture, art, tourism and education, the author of this article, using the example of the University of Moscow State University-SPI in Shenzhen, analyzes the prospects and challenges in the field of teaching Russian as a foreign language in China. Strengthening cooperation between China and Russia contributes to a constant increase in demand for Russian language proficiency. Excellent education and rich experience of Russian universities provide useful lessons for China. However, there are still a number of challenges in China that require innovative strategies to address them. In this article, through case analysis and data provision, this issue will be investigated in more detail, providing strong recommendations for future Russian language teaching in China.
