Social and cultural services development as a factor of improving municipal quality of life

This article reveals the debate on the quality of life as a major criterion of the social and cultural services development in the Moscow region. The study shows patterns of socio-cultural development in a municipality; the achievement of proposed subgoals contributes to the quality of life of inhabitants and to the sustainable development of socio-cultural elements of the population well-being. The analysis focuses on the measurement of education and health related quality of life (within health services) in Moscow region. The results reveal that the quality of life interacts with the social and cultural sphere.
