The development of speed and strength qualities in swimmers aged 15-17 during the special preparatory period of the training process

Бесплатный доступ

At the stage of educational and training preparation, swimmers aged 15-17 are in a critically important period of development of physical qualities, especially speed-strength. This is due to both age-related physiological characteristics and increased requirements for competitive activity at this age. The development and implementation of targeted exercises using special equipment, such as rubber expanders, allows for the implementation of the principle of selective focus of training impact and provides a more pronounced increase in athletic form. The use of expanders contributes to the development of muscle groups directly involved in rowing movements, as well as body stabilizers, which improves the technical and strength component of swimming. Systematization of such exercises and their inclusion in the structure of the training process can significantly increase its effectiveness.
