Development of sport among youth in Russia

The article deals with the development of sports in Russia and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle among young people. A number of examples are given illustrating modern development trends in this area of public life on the example of the Perm State Agro-Technological University named after Academician D.N. Pryanishnikov. Conclusions are drawn about the need for the growth of sports in the Russian Federation in order to strengthen and improve the physical health of the younger generation. The purpose of this study is to statistically survey students of the Perm State Technical University about the presence of sports facilities in the yard in their areas of residence, as well as their condition, novelty and availability. Recommendations and suggestions are also given on how to increase the performance of sports and involve the younger and rising generation in this.
