Leadership theories development in economic management science

The study focuses on identification of dependence on the leadership styles of leaders and value characteristics of followers. The first part of the paper observes main existing leadership theories from the historical viewpoint. The second part investigates value systems of the leader and corresponded followers. The teambuilding method «leader-followers» is proposed based on the value system of leader and subordinates.
