The development of precise movements in senior preschool students during relay games

The research describes an original approach to developing precise movements among senior preschool students during a relay game. The precise-movements development program implies training planning in relation to the basic motor actions of preschool students through the inclusion of relay games in annual, monthly, and weekly planning cycles. The ways to perform precise movements are studied, practiced, and upgraded during these cycles. A series of tests is proposed, and a five-point rating scale for physical qualities is tested to demonstrate a fair view on the dynamics of precise movements, coordination abilities, and physical strength of a child and a group of children as a whole. The research identifies and confirms the teaching arrangements conducive to the effective development of precise movements in senior preschool students based on the above-mentioned program applied to physical education process in a preschool educational institution. A pilot study proves the effectiveness of relay games when developing precise movements in senior preschool students in case of the teacher’s control that helps to make an objective assessment of children’s play activities.
