Developing volitional qualities in extracurricular activities as a factor in developing adolescents' personality

The article deals with the results of a pilot experimentation which was aimed at the development of volitional qualities among adolescents in in extracurricular activities in a foreign language. It was reviewed the content of the author’s psychological and pedagogical program. The objectives of educational activities are: the development of sustainable behavior in adolescents, a conscientious attitude towards work and education, and the raising of their cultural level. The data of the analysis of an experimental study assessing the level of development of volitional qualities among adolescents of the Municipal Budget General Educational Institution «School 28» in Ryazan are given.
