The purpose of the article is to analyze methodological recommendations for the examination and development of interrogative ability in children 5-6 years old with general speech underdevelopment. Objectives of the article: to compile a typology of children's interrogative sentences, to compare the methods of examination and development of the questioning ability of different authors, to systematize tasks to identify the level and development of questioning ability, to conduct a study on systematic tasks. Results of the study: a compiled typology of children's questions, a systematic methodology for identifying the level and development of interrogative ability for children 5-6 years old with general speech underdevelopment, data on the level of interrogative ability in preschool children with speech impairment.
