Developing endurance during sports

Today, the issue of increasing the endurance of training is increasingly being raised. In recent years, there has been a tendency for its deterioration among the population. The situation became especially alarming during and after the Covid-19 pandemic and the sedentary lifestyle associated with it. Today, coaches, teachers, physical education teachers are trying to correct the current situation by including in work programs and allocating more hours to classes aimed at developing endurance. This article examines the concept of endurance as one of the physical capabilities of a person, analyzes how sports affect the development of endurance. The article provides recommendations for effective ways to develop endurance, discusses the features of its development among athletes from 12 to 14 years old.
