Implementation of geostatistical methods for geoecological status assessment of the territory in the geoinformational system

The authors of the article show the urgency of the active application of the modern spatial data analysis methods in a problem solving assessment of a geoecological status of the territory based on geoinformational and geostatistical approaches. Implementation of the geostatistical methods on the platform of geographic information systems (GIS) provides further extension of the knowledge about the territorial structure of geo-ecological problems, negative state of the environment and the factors causing certain spatial heterogeneity.
