The article is devoted to the topical problem of pedagogy - the training of multicultural teachers. The level of University education requires a serious improvement of the research training of future specialists, which is reflected in educational standards of higher professional education. The concept of multicultural education is to provide training for students to implement multicultural training and research projects, thus laying the foundations for multicultural research and experimental activities of future teachers in the education system. The readiness of future specialists to research and experimental activities relevant to the needs and realities of our multicultural society, when almost all educational institutions focus on national, all-Russian values. The article discusses the status of the research problem preparation of teachers to professional activity in multicultural environments in the pedagogical science and practice, statistics of education schools in the city of Ulan-Ude. Considerable attention in article is paid to the mechanisms of formation of multiculturalism in University environment. Such a view would be of interest to higher education faculty, professionals in the field of multicultural education.
