The article focuses on multicriteria competitive strength assessment of a company as an important part of its external and internal environment analysis. It also focuses on economic characteristics of an entity working in a particular target market. The authors perform a method of hierarchy analysis on the example of competitive strength assessment of the firms marketing computers and peripheral devices. According to the authors, this method can be applied not only for competitive strength assessment of an economic entity, but also for analysis and prognostics of different economic processes.
