Realization of module approach while teaching foreign languages

The article deals with the problem of realization of module approach while teaching foreign languages. The author pays special attention to the topicality of module approach implementation in the educational process, considers the notion of the module as a single educational unit in the syllabus, focuses on the advantages of the module system as well as selection principles of educational material for the module student's manual. Analyzing the effectiveness of module approach while teaching foreign languages the author relies on the experience of using 5-module student's manual elaborated within the framework of Tempus - Catch project.
