Implementation of the principle of balance of interests in law enforcement activity

The article examines the problems of implementing the principle of balance of interests in law enforcement activity, which have become especially topical in the context of modern socio-political challenges. The reasons that oppose the implementation of the balance of private and public interests are highlighted, and legal means aimed at ensuring such a balance are proposed. The need for flexibility and proportionality of measures to ensure the rights of citizens and the safety of society is substantiated, the significance of judicial practice, as well as the importance of creating conditions for an open dialogue between social groups in order to achieve consensus and strengthen social cohesion are emphasized.
